Wii Controller Mods for using wireless gamecube?

One method is to put the Classic controller's guts in a GC controller.

No.

can I somehow slice this yup to make it go to my gamecube controller? or wire a gamecube controller directly to it?
Only if you put a PS2 Controller's guts in a GC controller. However, the PS2 controller is overly complicated, so that would be hard. In theory, it could be easier with the PS1 controller.

No. Yes.

You would have to buy an ethernet shield or equivalent for an Arduino or another microcontroller. Implement your own libraries to interface between the Wii and the router through the ethernet port. Feasible? Absolutely not. It would make a cool on-the-side project though.

I was looking at that forum post before, but I would love to have found some data of someone trying this before so I could just follow a successful chart. I'm a bit of a noob.

If you look, he edited a lot of my post. Apparently a lot more is possible than I thought. I also misread some of what you said, and was reading it backwards essentially.
