Hi everyone my name is Protobug, i'm new here and before we talk of the protocube i would like to introduce myself . I'm from france, i'm 17 and i love to mod stuff, gaming stuff. 
So i came here to share my projects and see yours i've always been a fan of SS on youtube so being here is awesome for me
. I've done a lot of small console mods like region switches but my main projects have been those : (just to remind you even if it is kind of the spirit of this forum my motto is : "it's ugly but hey, it works !" ) so watch out your eyes might burn from this uglieness .... I'm putting links for those, because otherwise the topic will be huge

My first project from 2 years ago it's an Arcade stick for the super nintendo. You can clearly see by the size of the wires that at the time i knew nothing about electronics It's made in a shoe box so yeah let's move on x)

Here is my second project it's a supergun for me to play neo geo mvs games on my tv, i made the "tupperware" joystick that goes with it, i love those boxes x)
An finally here is my huge one :

It's an arcade machine that plays a blue elf cartridge with 130 games built in it . Two players all the street fighter games and all the metal slug ones.
So here is the main project : the protocube !
It is a portable gamecube that i am currently making in a plastic box, again !
I grew up with the gamecube and i wanted to play it everywhere so here it is (it's not done, but i guess you'll figure it out..)
So here is the first design i thought but i quickly changed my mind for a landscape view
I got new things in the mail !
My battery+ charger and my 4.3"
I modded an official GC controller this time for maximum confort i extended the left analog stick and the d-pad which i replaced with micro switches
And at least here is my new case ! It's not as good as ashen's but it's what i can do for now
let's paint it !
i cut everything with a dremel
bottom of the unit with the direct GC ac adapter port, the battery charge jack, and the headphone plug on the left you can see the hole for the fan with a grid on it
the top of the gc with the shoulder buttons (l r z) the main power switch, holes for the air to flow, memory card slot and A/V out to plug in a tv
I managed to glue the screen, the speaker i got with the audio amp, the battery and The controls . i got issues with the audio amp though, it might be a grounding problem... Anyway here are the pics !
Front of the unit unfortunatly i messed up the cut for the screen hole.

Juste need a flashed wkf and a bit of mobo modding
