the gameboy source code

dude, seriously, i do have all the web pages saved and stuff and i feel comfortable that most of the dev tools from the sits ive found are OK to have. just cant seem to run them anyone know why, it keeps saying my computer isnt compatible with them because my pc has a 64-bit processor. and 64-bit can run 32-bit, please help!

Sorry gamefreak, but a 64-bit processor cannot natively run 32-bit applications.
A compatibility layer is what allows it most of the time.

These apps though, are very old, most being made for Windows 95, and 98, and a handful being for MS-DOS.
It's unlikely they'll work in a 64-bit environment without some finagling.

thats strange, i had found a 16-bit program from some of the files there and it ran just fine. though, i guess its not a matter of whether or not it has the right bit size, just a matter of compatibility. so if what said is true, would i be able to run them in compatibility mode?

yup, i got it, now i just have to figure out how to use it... i think i need copies of the respective OS to run each virtual machine. which i dont have at the moment... if im wrong, please tell me :)

Yes, that is correct. Either the ISO or actual disc will work fine.

sigh....... does anybody know if i could get win 3, 95, 98, and ME for free as a down load and how big is the file, and yes... i have searched quite a bit..
