I don't care if Beta tells me otherwise.

I used to pronounce my username a different way (Ant-oh-mee), but everyone else seems to be american or something so I just went with that one(Ant'ome).

Re: The Ccube - Tchay's First Portable Gamecube VIDEO ADDED!

Can't remember if I commented on youtube or not. But this thing is awesome. Can't wait to see some disc drive-less portables this size (or smaller).

Re: The Ccube - Tchay's First Portable Gamecube VIDEO ADDED!

Tchay, perhaps I could update your title with a pronunciation?

Don't worry, because I always silenced the 'T'

Re: The Ccube - Tchay's First Portable Gamecube VIDEO ADDED!

I always pronounced it (mentally, at least) "Tee-chay." I thought the T might be an initial or something.

Now I know you pronounce it the same way you would the "tch" in "Sega." ::3:

Re: The Ccube - Tchay's First Portable Gamecube BUILDLOG ADD

Stupid comments:

"15 months to complete and he thought it would take two weeks....I'm impressed. He obviously went through the "sod this I'm going for a beer and flaxs and giggles with my friends rather than create this finger cutting device" stage quite a few times. Kudos to you sir!"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"Yea, carrying around a disc based device. What could possible go wrong?"

"Forget about the old "discman" portable CD players?
Sure, they did tend to have skipping and CD scratching issues, but it worked."

"The disc was never exposed! I was always shielded because those things spin around *very* fast."
_______________________________________________________________________________
"How long before Nintendo sues? Since Sony's proving that you don't really 'own' your consoles. You're just borrowing it, and you can only do what they tell you to do"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"Disc has been known to cut off fingers while using the L and R buttons"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"I need watch size or nothing"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"Rogue Squadron.. on the bus!"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"A good idea, but I'd rather see those game be ported to the 3DS.
Metroid Prime 3DS? I'd jizm."
_______________________________________________________________________________
"I'm not impressed until it plays my solid gold Ocarina of Time cart."

Etc.

Re: The Ccube - Tchay's First Portable Gamecube BUILDLOG ADD

Did you... just quote the first page of comments?

Edit: just noticed that I've posted twice on this thread, and both comments were essentially the same, with not commentary on the actual product.
SO: Great job on this. I would have liked it a lot more if the controls had a steeper angle setting them apart from the rest of the case, but I also understand that that's a hard thing to make look nice, and you definitely managed to make the case(which now seems to be only bondo and epoxy, and no plastic :p)look rather good. I'm also digging the non-black/white paint. It's nice to see some other colors around here from time to time.
I also like how it's so Dang small that I continually fail to realize how amazing small it is.
