Been working on a new portable for some time. Sizewise it is a big one.

-7" Wide screen
-Dual 7.2 volt 3600mah batteries
-Pal version
-Expansion pak
-Video and sound out
-Rumble and memory pak compability
-Rechargable while playing
-230v compability

I have already come a long way. Pics will be up soon.

Sounds awesome. Any particular reason for PAL? And what does the 230v compatibility do?

PAL because i believe he lives in Europe. 230v allows direct AC current to be hooked up. Built in PSU.

Awesome. I live in Aust. so I use PAL too.
Are there any advantages to allowing direct AC current? And what does PSU stand for? I'm learning all about this, slowly, but efficiently.

230v is the AC standard in PAL regions, and 120v is AC standard in North America.(Not sure about asia). PSU stands for power supply(I think, it's close enough anyways).

Wow I didn't know that! Great info for when I start my n64p!
Would PSU stand for Power Supply Unit maybe?

And thanks for elaborating Mako and Toast.

Here is some pics of the progress. It looks like crap now but i will chop and sand the flax out of it. It wont be this big when finished.
I will also give it some curves.

Remember to flush when you're done. :p

nah, for a 7" N64p with an integrated PSU, it's alright. I like your wife's better, though. :XD:

edit- WTF happened to the "press" in "press start"?

That looks like Shockslayer's first N64 portable took a crap, lol.

Ah well, it'll be good when finished.

That is super epoxy paste. Its exactly the same comments as when i started making the cloud64. Im used to it now.:)

No, I have complete confidence since I've seen the cloud64. It's just that... I would not be man enough to post such early progress pics.
