Swiss on GC?

Is there anyway I can use swiss installed onto a gamecube and use a sd gecko to boot isos. I'm reading around and finding I might need a diff modchip that I'm hoping is cheaper then a wiikey.

I think that it would be pretty well-known if you could.
If you can't afford a Wiikey comfortably, don't even try. This is a very expensive hobby.

Get an XenoGC chip and burn a bootable disc of swiss, than get an SDGecko and a decent SD card and put the isos on that.

I think you can flah it on a ViperGC extreme or qoob pro. That however will not be cheaper than to get than a WKF, unless you are lucky and get one in a preowned cube.
I suggest you check gc-forever, thats where the swiss pros are :)

I can afford a wiikey, I know this is an expensive hobby, but a xeno or viper would get here faster, I'm having issues finding a US seller

Go to the official wiikey site. They have a list of north amreican sellers. Think i ordered one of mine from modchipcentral and gt it earlier than i was supposed to, as opposed to foundymy which took a week over the date it was supposed to be received..

So, if I understand, there is no other way to load isos from an SD card WITHOUT the disc drive that getting a Wiikey fusion ?

There no way to load swiss without a disc ? (I don't know anything about homebrew  )

Because like tom10122, I would like to pull off the disc drive without buying a wiikey, that is a little expensive...

well what i was thinking of doing was pulling the dd and leave the pcb for it , maybe move it elsewhere and install a xeno on the pcb then use that to boot into an sd gecko but its all about the same price i guess
