This is kind of small weekend-type project. It's probably been done before, but here you go anyway.

The front of it:

The SD slot to the right is a WKF SD slot. This system has a DD too, so it kind of works together with the WKF.

And the back:

A small switch near the bottom for component/VGA output, and a 3.5mm audio jack in the top left for VGA.

I like this for the VGA and audio jack! Just the other day I was wondering how to hook up my Gamecube to this monitor...

VGA tends to not work with most TVs because it only displays the "correct" VGA signal when playing a game in progressive scan. The home menu won't even show up.
