Super glue on a ds lite circuit board

so one of my super inelegant friends decided to super glue on a broken bumper on their ds. not surprisingly it stopped working. I took it apart to try to see if any got on the board, which of course it did. The board is now super glued to the top casing. I had two questions, could super glue on the board be causing the ds to not turn on? Also does anyone know and circuit board safe way to get super glue off of a ds? Any help would be awesome.

Thanks

to get super glue off the board, try rubbing alcohol. It works on hot glue and might work on super glue. As for it causing the DS to not turn on, super glue might have conductive properties causing it to short something but I'm not sure.

I think superglue can be used to connect electrical components, so I assume it would be electrically conductive and could probably short circuit the circuit board..

Also, do not try to wipe it with cotton. Cotton and superglue makes BIG HEAT.

According to wikipedia, acetone works if you work on it hard enough. And acetone is flammable.

Don't bother with the circuit board, just put a bunch of this stuff into a bucket and toss a match in. XD

ps thats very dangerous.

I would love to lol but it's my friends daughters ds and i told her i would try to fix it for her lol

thanks for the help everyone i'm gunna go give it a shot
