Suitable speakers

Ok,I have these speakers....

do they have a suitable amp, and can be wired? It runs on 4 aaa batteries

I also wired another ipod speaker to the gamecube already but it doesnt work. I still have the original output (for the ipod) attached. Heres some pics:

Can someone tell me why it isnt working. Should I use the other ones???

I have never used those speakers on Amazon, but they should have an amp inside. The actual speakers look a little too big, though, and I'd say the same for the amp you wired.
Now, I can't see why the amp you wired wouldn't work. The only possible flaw I see is that ground might be slightly touching Audio R where the red wires are (the input of the amp). Other than that, just make sure there are no short circuits anywhere, between ground or something else. Test it with another device, too, like an iPod or the like, to see if the amp functions at all.
By "too big", I meant that, since the actual speakers are pretty large, smaller speakers like DS speakers would sound bad. The smaller speakers won't be able to handle an output meant for bigger ones.
