RGB Bench Tester

So I picked up a CGA Ibm "Personal Computer Color Monitor" off of a guy for 50 cents at a yard sale (and an Atari 800 for 2 dollars!) and I am wondering how I might go about pulling H sync and V sync from my SNES. To run this monitor, I need R, G, B, Hsync, Vsync, GND. I only have composite sync, though. My arcade machine runs fine on it, but that doesn't really help with SNES or Genesis. Any thoughts?

Alright, so this monitor is a CGA monitor and thus takes TTL digital RGB. Dang! I suppose I'd better find another one.

the dreamcast vga box separates composite sync into h and v sync. perhaps it could be used with the snes?
