psone modchip question

I am thinking of getting a modchip for my psone. However, I was wondering if there was one that allowed the use of vcds to be played on it. I think there was an add on for the old playstation that let you play vcds, but the port fot it was removed when sony made the psone. So It would be great if there was a modchip that allowed this.

i doubt if there is. i never heard anything about it. as for modchips, i recommend a stealth modchip. (cheap, easy to install) of course, its cheaper to have jlee/snowkitty do it for you, but, you would have to dig through the junkyard to find their threads, and, lets be honest, is it worth digging for?

I got a VCD to run on my Modded PS1.

I was going to upload the tools and add a tutorial on my site, but it is a 124MB Upload and Australian Internet SUCKS.


Don't even bother trying to find the tools or Google it. I spent 5 days looking and looking - translating and translating to get it to work.

It IS possible, and I HAVE done it.

Nevermind the HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS THAT MOVE THROUGH MODRETRO'S PAYPAL ACCOUNT ON A REGULAR BASIS, NOT TO MENTION THE MONEY THAT'S GONE TO CHARITY, NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT IT'S BEEN IN CONSTANT USE FOR ALMOST TWO *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ING YEARS.
