i new to this moddding stuff on the ps2... ok here i go i bought Agent under fire it was and pretty badly scratched and a memory card today i used it on my silver ps2 70000 series it loaded up the ps2 logo but didn't work so i tried it on my black ps2 70000 series it worked perfectly now the next thing is i tried to rip it on my computer because i was trying to install free mcboot but it didn't rip all the way it messed up so i downloaded it off the internet 007AgentUnderFire dvd ntsc 1.3gb full version it was the same version as mine so i downloaded uLaunchELF v4.42a and Apache1.1 and open uLaunchELF v4.42a rar and Extract uncompressed BOOT.ELF to my desktop and renamed it to DRIVING.ELF and then open the 007AgentUnderFire dvd ntsc 1.3gb full iso with Apache1.1 and change the mainfile 007AgentUnderFire DRIVING.ELF Size dec to 1072020 and replaced it with uncompressed BOOT.ELF aka DRIVING.ELF the new one lol but the main thing i think i might have messed up on it i didn't use img burn or dvd decrypter i used power iso and burned it to my dvd-R idk if i was supposed to verify it or not PS im done im think... lol

I'm new to the PS2 modding scene.
I just bought 007 Agent Under Fire in order to use FreeMCBoot on my PS2, however it was very badly scratched.
The game would not load on my silver 70000 series PS2, however it loaded fine on my black 70000 series.
After I got it to work on my black PS2, I tried to rip it to my computer, however it didn't rip all of the way, so I obtained a NTSC copy elsewhere.
This copy seemed to be the same as mine, so I used a few tools to modify this copy by changing the name of the BOOT.ELF file to DRIVING.ELF, and then set the disk size to 1072020M.
I then copied these files to a blank dvd using PowerISO and did not have the program automatically verify that it burned correctly.

How could I make this work with my silver PS2, and while copying the files to a DVD was I supposed to use specifically ImgBurn or Dvd Decrypter, or is it ok that I just used a generic disk image burning program like PowerISO?

Assuming I translated that correctly...

I would just try polishing the original disk some. A bit of elbow grease and a soft cloth is easier than banging your head on the keyboard trying to type something coherent.
I just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out what that said.

It also helps if we know whether or not NTSC is even the right region code for you. The internet is international, Yo.
