PS1 Sreen Sound Problem?

Hey guys, I'm pretty much a total buster when it comes to this stuff, and I usually don't know what I'm doing. Long story short I'm using a PS1 screen and I can't figure out why I can't get the audio to work. Video works just fine but audio doesn't want to work. I'm pulling my hair out, someone please help. I can post pictures if it helps. Oh and this is for a GameCube portable.

Do you just solder audio wires directly to the motherboard or do you have an audio amp? Because you need an amp(i have an amp but sound dont works for me too but maybe it fixes sound for you)

You don't need an amp with a ps1 screen.

This looks like what I need but I'm using a rev c mobo. I assume that makes a difference?
