omgwtf gamecube bridging and help

I trimmed an omgwtf gamecube tonight and rewired the power and video. It isnt working. THe regulators are apparently outputting 3.2v and 1.7v. I've tested thse regulators on another gamecube a few days ago and they worked. My multimeter is also showing the 1.7v and 3.2v are shorting. If i can fix the short, whats the chance i didnt break the gamecube?

Whenever i cut past those caps on the board, i can never get it to work and i need that extra 3mm on my portable that i was going to finish tonight but i guess not anymore.

EDIT: It's actually 1.7v and ground shorting. I removed everything, sanded the board down with 100 then 400 grit sandpaper and still shorting

EDIT2: wired up original gc regulator, still everything has the proper voltage and no turn on.

My power lines are using thin wires right now and arent doubled up but i know that wasnt the problem because before they were doubled up and ive used those wires just like that before. Right now, the original gc power reg is wired up and everything has the proper voltage. Also, the video is line isnt wired up this second but it has been, i didnt forget about video. The screen is working fine on my home console gc. The chips get hot like a normal gc.

1.9v always shows a short to ground if using a continuity meter..
If you switch to the ohm setting it will show that it has around 28ohms resistance though. So it's not really shorted.

Check that will you.

Need higher res pics. Those are just about useless for seeing the tiny stuff.

It looks maybe like you've cut to close to the ram though, also the cut near the MX chip with the tube thing is questionable. May still be fixable. Need better pics.

Those are the best pics i can do sorry. I'm gonna go ahead and trim another gamecube i have so i can still finish the portable this weekend and ill take a look at this again later. I started the portable on thursday with some spare supplies i had laying around but it might be my best one yet. To fit it in the case, I need to ither trim the caps or the controller transisters off for it to fit. I'm gonna take a try at the transisters this time.

I think my other board is fine. My new trim wasnt working at first. Then i wired up an av port instead of directly wiring up the video and it started to work. I think the reason they werent working is cause the screen wasnt sharing a ground with the motherboard. As soon as i wired up ground to screen from the motherboard, it started working.
