Alright, so this is my first portable. I have several designs. I think Im gonna go with the ZN-40 / ZN-45, depends on how thick it is.

I'm using a DOL-101 Gamecube with WiiKey Fusion.
It will have 2-4 player sockets in the back.
It will not have battery, it will run off of wall power.

All of the above will make it very thin.

My project will be paused due to me being stupid and scratching the eff out of my motherboard. so I'm looking around on Ebay for a DOL-101 board.

Isn't that a part of the board that can be cut right off? Meaning it will work fine even with that scratch? Someone with greater knowledge have to answer this i guess

I didn't know that, this is my first portable so your right, I don't know much.
My board wont work or give power to the disk drive or led on the controller board.
If anyone knows a solution please feel free to help me out!

Did you try relocating the regulator board? Also if your power led does turn on then imminently turns off then try relocating it again, and again if if it doesn't boot up. I had that problem.

well, i kinda ruined the board the other day, I scraped it?
I took out the crystal because its 18 Mhz while the gameboy color is 8Mhz I think. Im gona overclock my GBc.

But thanks for the post! If i have this problem with my new board ill check that out!
