The batteries are 7.2 volt 3000mAh NiMH batteries I got from Fry's.
This is my first portable and I hope it will pave my way into the harder level stuff, life the N64, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and PSone.
B.T.W. I am a beginner and am using 1up's NES portable guide, but I'm gonna keep the original buttons and hopefully design a more hand friendly case.
