N64 screen problem

Well this is my first post have been scanning this board for a while and decided to make a portable myself.
wasnt planning on posting anything untill i was finished,but i have run into a problem =/
i cant seem to connect my n64 to my screen.

i m using a 7 inch screen from a portable dvd player,
i m trying to connect my nintendo through the av in plug but not been very succesfull.
does anyone have advice.

take a pic and let me see becuase on mine it took a while becuase there was a switch on it that switched between the dvd player and the av input so look and post some pics and also look up the name and what type it is on google

i figured it out this morning.
seems it was a switch like you sayed and the connection i made with the screen was wrong.
now i only have to make the case and intergrate the controller =)
