N64 power draw time lapse!

I did this when I was making the 64 boy and you would only see it if you followed my on youtube or watched my build log. I thought it might be useful to others.



Remember this includes the 3.5 inch screen and audio amp at full power. So subtract about 150mA for the screen, I don't know how much the audio amp uses though.

Was it faster at the end or did the voltage really drop off that quickly?

Nope, the whole video is the same speed. Remember when the voltage drops the current draw goes up, so it's going to drop progressively faster until the protection circuit cuts it off.

I don't remember when, but near the end, before it went dead, the voltage plummeted.

When it just plummeted to zero was the protection circuit cutting out.

Yeah, that's how fast the battery was being eaten by all the devices at that voltage.
