Hey, making this an official thread in the N64 forum instead of the screen forum.
March 04, 2012 (sorry no photos this time D
So far i took the case apart (thanks to PRXVII, and bud)
Removed the mobo, and the cartridge slot
soldered ide cable wires to the contacts of the cartridge in groups of three. hotglued them to keep them from moving out of place. (made sure they made contact before i glued them)
Now i just need to desolder the slot on the mobo so i can solder the cartidge back in.
Oh, and a quick question. if i reverse the orientation of the game, opposite of how its supposed to be inserted, will it still work in the console?
*edit* stupid question above, i just realized how i want to wire it, and i sorta had a realization that it wont work!! but atleast i put enough wire to orientate it the way i want.
