n64 help

hey guys i relocated my cartridge slot lastnight and it works but it freezes up after running for a minute or two so what do i do?

Try checking for shorts or loose wires.

i did and every things ok but now my 64 wont even come on no mater what i do

Might have fried it. Nothing you can do if you did. I find N64s are very easy to fry.

N64's are actually very resilient. When you turn it on, does the red LED light up?

N64's are actually very resilient.

This. N64s have a habit of going into sleep mode. Once something is shorted it will go to "sleep" Leave it alone for a few days, then come back and look for bridging near your wires, the RCP chip, the RAM chips, and the CPU chip. It should work fine once you find where you've bridged something.

Gah. How did I forget to mention this? I've found if you have another AC adapter, and use that, it will come out of sleep mode.
