N64 case question

I am new to this, but I want to make a portable N64 for something to do this summer.
Taking a lot of old posts, I have figured out a lot except about the case, (wiring comes later).
How big in size should a first N64 portable case be? How much depth, height and width, etc?

Well, what most people use for their first one is a ZN-45 from Polycase, but you could also use the n64 shell as a case.

The zn-45 gets used a lot because it's SO EASY. You could fit two n64ps in there.

If you'd like a nice pretty case that's not too hard, try the datamax. You have to frankencase, but it comes out looking really good if you do it right.

And it's sooooo Comfy!

Hey, by my measurements you probably want at least a 5''x7'' case. That is the size I used to make my first... until I failed. But anyhoo, that size will fit the whole board as long as you remove the connectors for power and AV, and remove the controller ports or cut holes for them. Good luck!

Edit: 5"x7"x2" is what I used, but the height (thickness) really depends on what you can do or want to make.
