How much is a motherboard to buy and get fitted? I not much of an expect other than I know that it is the motherboard that is completely broken. I have got a Dell studio 1555 laptop and was wondering how much it would cost to get the motherboard replaced plus someone to replace them at a shop.

You're in the wrong forum buddy. Your problem, yes...any chance you know what kind of motherboard they have? Then you could just look for one at tigerdirect or possibly ebay, purchase, then either install yourself or take it to a computer repair shop (like Jlee's!) and have them install it for you. If you don't know what kind of mobo you have, try taking some good pictures of it and maybe someone will know by looking at it.
