Modding Psone Screen

Just wondering on how to hook up tact switches for contrast and volume to a psone screen, Im not sure where to connect them to the board.

PSone screens already have tact controls at the bottom.

If you want to relocate them, take the tacts off and wire them to their original position.

So you would have 4 wires to each original tact switch from the board?

no. only two. tacts are redundant. you only need two wires. just check with a multimeter.

Sorry, do u know where the two wires would come from on the board for the tact swithces? I am still in need of a multimeter.

i think he means left and right or up and down. i would check but im not home.

If you don't care about having extra wires, then just solder all four corners on each side. At least it'll work.
