Modding my acer AO522 with a touchscreen

So I've been interested in installing one of the touchkit mods in my acer ao522.

it's a 10.1 inch netbook with a resolution of 1280 x 720 resolution I'm not sure if that matters.

I've looked inside and it has a vacant mini pci express port without a header so the usb may work off of that.


I don't know much about mini pci express slots, so I'm not sure if this would work, I just don't know what thickness the touch screen layers are and if the usb on the mpcie would work if I solder to it.

So what do you guys think, if this woks I could easily mod the hinge rotate.

Would it make it like this in a way? I'm thinking of two different things, not sure which one your thinking of.

If so, I'd say go for it, I had a netbook like the one above, and the rotating screen is useful.

It would be something like that, it twists in a different way but you've got the right idea.

It's a fusion based netbook, it's really nice, I play tf2 on it when I'm not at home or at a friends house or something.
