Making My First Portable

So for a couple days now, I've been watching videos and tutorials about how to make a portable game system. Much of what I've seen amazes me, and I've decided to start making my own portable system. The system I want to make portable is the SNES and a lot of questions have come to my mind.

Where do I start trying to make this?

What tools and resources do I need to make this?

What information do I need to know in order to make this the best portable possible?

Are there any tutorials or people willing to help me learn how to do this thing?

I am fairly new to the forums and would like some help related to these questions. I'm not really expecting anybody to straight out walk me through everything, but I'd like to know where I can start learning how to work with PCB's and things related to making this project a success.

Hope to have a reply soon.

Grab a controller, rear-view monitor from ebay, some camera batteries, and a console of your choice.

Glue everything together, connect the positive on the battery to the negative.

???

Portable.

IN all seriousness. Check the sections for the console of your choice. nobody is going to hold your hand through the process, and that's a good thing, it gives you the tools to solve the problems. There is no "DO EXACTLY THIS" guide, with the exception of a few from certain modders.

THIS GUIDE is a pretty good starting point on the process of building a portable. It mainly focuses on a NES portable but the process the easily applied to a different system.
