Make Gameboy Advance - Gamecube Connection wireless

Hello,
i was recently playing Zelda four swords on my Gamecube and i used the "Gameboy Advance linkcable". But because i prefer my Controller (In this case the GBA)to be wireless i started to reserch...

There is an wireless Adapter for the GBA wich should work with the "Gamecube Gameboy player" but i didnt found out if he is working like a Gamecube Controller if the Gameboy player is plugged in.
So far i have orderd this wireless adaper to test it soon.

My second thought was to take the board of an Wavebird Controller, cut the board as small as possible and put it into my GBA.
But there are Problems..
1. I don´t exactly know what parts of the board i need to use and wich pins are for the Buttons.
2. I read that the Wavebird is sending a singnal to the resiver but not the otherwayaround.
While the GBA should actually get informations from the Gamecube to know when display things.. If this is true it should be impossible to do...

Maybe someone did some reserch before or got some usefull informations or ideas how to manage?

Thx

Hello,

Unfortunately this will not be possible without extensive modification and even then I can't guarantee that it will work. First the problem is there is a signal that the gamecube takes in order to know what kind of controller is plugged into the console. The signature for the wavebird is distinct from the normal controllers and the gba so I would imagine that this would not be possible...
