Launch Backups on GameCube without Discs?

I'm trying to make a gamecube portable, and whenever I run SD Boot to boot an iso, it says I have to insert an original game. If I wanted to put in my real GameCube games, I would've kept the disc drive attached to the motherboard, but that thing is HUGE! Is there any way to boot an iso or gcm without having to hook up my disc drive again?

BTW I am running a Qoob Pro that boots SD Boot in order to view the SD content, then I boot from there...
