JayCube

I'll post pictures of every step putting it in there. As far as the actual Gamecube, all I did was take all the ports off etc, and I rewired the Daughter Board straight to the Motherboard. Everything else is pretty much the same. :) like I said, I'll post pictures when I get to that part.

Waiting from someone at BH to send me a little plastic piece for the volume control, which you can see is missing. It's taking forever for him to respond.

That sucks, but if your patient enough, it will turn out great!

Also if it matters to you, maybe you can use rubber pieces from something else; it probably will still turn out good.

Anyway, did you make any progress on the hardware itself?

Yeah, I may try to just duplicate the ones I have if this doesn't work out :?

The most progress I have on hardware is really this:

But all I have to do after I finish up the controller (which I actually have nearly finished, but no pictures yet) is hook everything together. Once I start really working on this again I'll post some stuff. But until I get that piece, I can't start putting things in the case...

@Pally Your best bet is going to be the forums or BH. I actually do think Bacteria has one that he said he will sell, but he's over in the UK, etc.

I do have everything except for some things that a trip to Radio Shack will fix. The relocation does work and is secure. No troubles with it and the shock absorbers with it on the back of the case are working great.

I'm using 14.8v at ~4700 mAh to power everything.

Hahah, of course. I just have it there because it's a lot less hassle to test the controller with everything in tact and then solder it to the board. I don't really think I'm being overconfident in thinking that I can get them to the right points. :P Thanks!

I cut around the AV and power jacks on my N64 because I was too lazy to rewire them, and I relocated a power jack and plugged in the mating connector because I was too lazy to reverse-engineer it. Don't be like me.

In case anyone's wondering, the daughter board needs rewiring and a new protection circuit is on its way. i'm also sure to run into other problems along the way but I'm hoping to get this done next week. Also have to order a new connector for the ffc extension.

Wow, it's been a while since I've actually worked on this. I've been busy over at the 405th making my own set of Halo Reach armor...don't judge me. :P

I will resume work on this before...May...ish.
