Introducing the Pixie Cube!

Hey guys,
I wanted to take the time to show off my latest portable Gamecube the Pixie Cube. It's design is inspired by Ashen's past designs with a little of my own flare added here and there. I had a great time building this one, as it was my first foray into vacuum forming and I am very happy with the results.

Component video chip VGA Modded for 480p video
Trimmed official Gamecube controller
Double tact modded L and R buttons
Full Range Analog Thumbsticks
Vacuum formed case with mold designed by me, but inspired by Ashen
7.4v Lithium Ion battery pack at 4000MAH
Wasp Fusion Modchip with 64GB SD card for storage
Built in 1000 Block Memory Card
Slot B SD Gecko
Zenloc's custom regulator. 1.8v, 3.3v and 5v
IBM Thinkpad Heat Sink

At first, I was thinking "Oh, that's a neat color"... and then I saw the last picture with your hand in it, and... wow. You did a fantastic job on that!

That's really really small great job ! And that screen does look gorgeous in 480p

that is a very bold choice in color; I like it. Color aside, the worksmanship on it looks really nice.

The color choice was my wife's actually. LOL. I made this one for her. This one took me a few weeks to finish up. The screen was originally supposed to be a 5", but once I vacuum formed the first piece and measured, I realized that a 5.6"would fit and the rest is history. It measures 8" (w) x 4.5"(l) x 1.5"(d).
