Have a switch that either gives internal or external controller 3.43v bi-directional data so that the right one gets the abilty to transmit data. This is how I would try first. Diagram.
(look a ben's diagram for 3.43 data to find where it is and to find mobo player 1 data in)
↓internal controller wire points

.*.*.MoBo data point■■-¦—

↑same as above but external

wire point = .
solder = | |
wire = ■
nothing = *
spdt = the thing with ¦ on the right.
This probaly won't work but it is worth a shot.

Took the casing off. My GC has stopped working, I mean nothings fried but the board that conects the fan and power supply to the GC I don't think it is not connecting. Maybe it's just a n00b mistake that's easily fixed. Well maybe it is connecting just... I don't really know. Any help?
