So using a pot would NOT work you're saying?Bibin said:eurddrue said:I may get flamed for this, but I didn't read it because large pics on ipod = supar slow. Now, could I add a pot on the 3v line to make it adjustable?
I am using my iPod and the images loaded fine.
Technically, it is a little above 3v, as 3v and lower just doesn't work at all, I think due to some kind of diode in the panel or whatever.

The backlight requires a certain voltage to operate at all.
The likely result of adding a pot would simply be the ability to turn it on and off, without any "dimming" at all.
You do it darn near the same way.N00BModdr said:I know this is a bump, but, how can I adapt this to work on a CGB?
I think Bibin said something about VCC on a CGB... :huh:jleemero said:Seriously, very little is any different at all other than where it goes and where you get power.
The would be great! ervert:jleemero said:Bibin (!) probably has some pics he could post
