I have a pink original Nintendo GBA and was wondering if there is a way to change the color without buying a new Shell Housing for it.

Thanks!

Wow that sucks...

I just want a method of being able to go somewhere local to get this done.

Or i wish there was a place to get a shell case close by.

Well, i guess its not exactly close by, but I got my shell case for GBA on Amazon, as well as my tri-wing screwdriver.

No, but i made a failed attempt to front light my GBC :lol2:
If you want to front light yours, Bibin has an excellent guide on how to.

Oh Lol.
Well right now om playing my GBA and im having to move towards my light.
Its even harder to see when your playing Pokemon crystal ant its nighttime in the game! :lol2:

Hardware Store websites suck.

Krylon Fusion CAN BE FOUND at ANY Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, True Value, or even Auto Zone, and at (some) Checker/Kragen/O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Yeah, I guess I should actually visit the store.

I see. Is this KF paint easy to apply? What do the results look like? How do you cover up the screen/buttons/button holes from getting painted on?

It's just spraypaint, it ain't that complicated.

Amazing.
Krylon Fusion actually bonds with the plastic, as such you can't "scratch it off".
In fact, paint something with it, and give it a light sanding. The color is still there.
It's called "Fusion" for a reason.

You remove them?
You shouldn't be painting anything but the case.
Everything else should be sitting on an Anti-static mat somewhere else in the house ;)

Like jlee said.

Completely disassemble the unit you are painting. Take all the buttons out, the screen, and the screen plate if there is one. I don't think you have to worry about the speaker holes.
