Prolly cuz that game is now in the bargain bin for PS3. Not in a bad way at all, it is a REALLY nice game, just somewhat old. Definitely in my top 20 games or so, though, if a bit short.

My older brother's birthday is on Christmas day. My silbings try to pull that crap on him every year, but I still buy him two gifts. Even though they're both cheap.
