Grey horizontal lines in screen, Solved?

Pm Themadhacker I read his log about how he has two plain LCD screens, but I only read to page two. So, I don't know if they have been sold or not.

Well, if you are still gonna try and fix it...


Take the whole panel apart as if you are LED modding it, and try running the tip of your soldering iron over the edge of the screen where the lines start. Keep doing that down along the line, and eventually, it might actually be fixed.

Well, I guess I've got nothing to lose. I'll post again if it works. If I don't post, assume the screen died or exploded or I threw it out a window or something.
