Gman's Portable Gamecube, Mission #1

guys i now i have jumped right in at the deep end but i'm a bright guy i can swim so i've made my first mod something i've always wanted: a gamecube portable i know where to get the screen, console for basic circuits, controller and how to put most of it together but what case do i need and from where? Also how do i make a light saying if it's charged or not + can someone explain to me how the battery volts system works because my brother knows but is not telling :? I saw shock slayers video and i don't think i'll go that far but i'd like to make it so i could just play it in public without people staring at me rather than the game! Thanks!

OK wow so considering this is your first portable this may be very difficult. If you have no experience i would suggest working your way up a latter NES portable, N64 portable, Then... Gamecube portable. I know you don't want to hear that so here:

11.1v
5000mah
would work for voltage, it would run it at highest for 3 hours. The higher the mah the better.
heres some helpful stickies

also you could actually pm ShockSlayer i did and he gave me some helpful advice so if these stickies don't help ask him yourself. Also Mario who is a modretro user has some diagrams on charging light so check it out. Also on the battery you can buy screens and battery pacts that hook onto the gamecube so the only wires are the controllers:

We should seriously put in the megasticky that those batteries suck. Every beginner tries to go for them it seems.
