Gman's 1st Gamecube Portable -The DMG Cube

After 5 months of hard work and frustration with wiikeys, I have finally completed my first gamecube portable! This was originally going to be smaller and a horizontal design, but due to a bad paint job, I restarted the case using an old gameboy of mine.

Worklog: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=10813

Features:
-3.5 inch screen
-Frankencased gameboy case
-wiikey fusion
-internal memory card on slot A
-3ds sliders with RDC's 3ds to analog microchip board
-OMGWTF gamecube trim
-4way tact switch for dpad
-No batteries! It runs off of the original gamecube power adapter
-IBM zenloc fan
-I broke 4 gamecubes and 6 wiikeys

That looks amazing, I absolutely love the button layout and how small you got everything. I love when people stuff a certain system into a dmg case. My only complaint is the paint job, not glossy enough for a mod of this coolness.

You have done well, my son.

Now, take my hotglue gun, you can focus power in the glue by holding down the trigger.

Save the forums....Ashen is your....your...

I've already learned that power isnt in the hot glue gun..

I've been holding off playing wind waker because I heard it was awesome and I wanted to play it entirely on my own portable console so I started playing it last night. I was playing the sword tutorial and it told you to press b to attack so I was doing that and then the guy got mad at me cause i was "doing it wrong". After ten minutes of this I figured something must e wrong with the b button so i opened it up and re-did the entire controller wiring and the problem was still there! Finally I realized that I was being stupid and was tilting the analog stick while pressing b so i could get closer to him. I felt so freaking dumb! The only good part of that was that I relocated on of the speakers in front of where the air blows out. There is still good air flow, but now that voule is a whole lot louder!

Turned out pretty cool man. Well done!

Thanks everyone for the comments! :)

I just sold it for $600. It's a low price but it doesnt have internal batteries which is a bummer. It's emotional for me to part with my portable so soon..
