hey im doing a hub for the gc with 3 ports. the first 2 ports work just fine, but the 3rd dont work for some reason. data is connected also checked the continuity. There is ground and 3,4v. adding more ground didnt help. i know the pinout is ok but why it dont work? are the cables too long?

No, the cables can be extended longer than you could need. Any of the pins could be bent or obstructed in some way but we don't really have a way to know exactly what's wrong with your controller port. Can you disassemble the GC controller? If you can do that, you could test continuity between 3.3v on the GC and 3.3v on the controller, GND on the GC and GND on the controller, etc.

no i cant disamble the controller, its my only one, and the new one i dont want any scrachtes or something :S. should i try another port? but the port should normally be ok, since it worked at anytime. there is also the green part from the controller board. will a new port eventually fix it? i have enough of them :p
