GC AV screw up fix?

I was toying around with my screen that came broken to see if there was anything I can do anything to get it to work. Whilst messing around with it, I disloacted the resisitor on the alternate AV out loactions. (http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu4/ ... ide/23.png The resistor connected to the middle yellow point.)
So, my TV is getting no signal. No audio either. What can I do? Can I hook up composite instead? The GC light is turning on and my WKF is blinking as usual. Can I use composite instead? I'm using THIS Monitor BTW. What should I do?

Did that public. I got some lines saw the GC logo very lightly and then it went to black and had a white line on the side of the screen. I'l see if it fixes when I hook up a 2.4k resistor from pin 15 to ground.

EDIT: I shielded the line and got better results. I'm assuming all I need now is the 2.4 k resistor. The output was balck and white btw.

I've ran the same problem on the PlayCube Pocket. The 2.4k resistor is crucial and will fix the issue for sure. Thanks again for the info, Ashen!

So happy someone else had the exact same problem as me and was able to fix it. I was getting worried. Does it matter what side of the resistor I hook up to what?

Well, I hooked up the resistor to pin 15 and to ground and still had the same results. I have the screen and cube hooked up to different ground and voltages. Still getting the odd black and white only image. I dont have another screen so. I'll see if I can rig up a av cord to my TV to see if it's a faulty screen. I'm a little confused why it didn't work. Please help! I don't know what to do to ifx this.
