Is there a safe ground on the gameboy color near p1 that I can wire my battery to? It has to be able to take 3.7 Volts.

how about the ground side of the battery connection?(springy prong)

I broke it off.

you can solder to the spot it was on.
or follow the trace to another ground spot.

Thanks, because I accidently put it on the wrong spot, the color stopped working.

it's broken? I can take it off your hands I need a gbc case to make a portable metroid console (for nes)
