Hi, I'm relatively new on this Forum, and I mostly do repairs but am 'mod-curious'. I'm hoping someone could help me with a little problem.
I have a GB Micro I bought broken (no sound, wouldn't read games) and with a good cleaning these problems were fixed. Eh Voila a new problem has arisen, the Start button doesn't work.
I'm not sure if I tore the ribbon connector when disassembling/reassembling, but it doesn't seem likely because the lights on Start/Select still go on when powered ON.
So, my question is, if the Lights are on for the Start/Select, then what could be causing the Start button to be non-responsive?
I'm fairly certain that the Start/Select chip on the inside is placed correctly, as well as the buttons. The reassembly went well, the buttons jut out a little as normal and have a proper clicking feel. Any suggestions?
