gamecube portable

Hey i am making a porable gamecube i am going to make it out of wood and make it look like a gameboy color it will also be made with out soldering or using a dremil or taking off any pieces of the gamecube except when i am cutting the wires to make them longer.
Do you think i can do it?

You could do it without soldering, but it would make the finished product very large. I had very little experience soldering when I started my portable n64, but I found it easy to solder some of the simple things like the screen power and video input to the main board.

yes i do have lot of experience with electronics and yes to the other person it is going to be pretty big
