Gamecube fan specs?

I'm replacing an old broken down gamecube fan and I need to know what's adequate.

Power consumption
RPMs
how many CFMs

and all that jazz.

Only thing I know is that it takes 12v. I don't know how to figure out all the other stuff and can't find it on the fan or by searching the model number  Sorry :tophat:

I just notice on the fan in very tiny print it says .05 amps. So it draws 50mA but the CFM is what I need to know, that should tell me what fans are okay to use.

i bet that some people have the original gamecube case fans. i dont have any clue though

Considering some people get away with far smaller heatsinks and 40mm fans, I think you'll do alright with pretty much whatever you put in there.

Yeah, and that is especially true with the way the heat sink is made. And hail I thought you used the original fan?

You can actually go about an hour without a fan if you change the thermal paste to something better than the stock paste. If you can afford to get a custom copper based heatsink machined for you, it would be a lot better. So if this is for a portable and your battery life is only about an hour, that should be ideal.
