gamecube cut no power

Hi guys i have done a simple gamecube board trim , i just cut the edge where the gc regulator plugs in ,everything else is intact and now the cube doesnt power on at all it only seems to happen when this side of the board is trimmed heres a pic what i have trimmed off... any help on how to get power back would be great thanks

Try solder the power wires directly to the CPU and GPU caps, like Ashen pointed in his guide: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6476

Yes thanks wil try it , i was just wondering why i have now cut two of these boards just beyond where the regulator plugs in and it doesnt power up ?? i cant see anything i have cut thru only the ground on the board

Did you sand the board? Maybe just sand a bit more might just need it.

Hi mate thanks u was spot on i re sanded the board and it worked, i just diddnt sand it good enough the 1st time thanks again
