I am determined to have 480p VGA video in my next portable, but, as you'd imagined, I'm having trouble getting that cable. The lowest price on eBay for immediate order is $150. So does anyone have one of these boards for sale, a custom board for sale, or at the very least a B012355 chip to make my own? It really means a lot to me to have this legendary hardware.

I too was looking for those chips, and no luck at all. I have an official one I bought for $90 back then that I am using for my GCP. Your best bet is talking to megalomaniac, he's the master when it comes to all this stuff lol.

PS to get the 480i and 480p I hope you have a compatible screen that takes 15khz and 31khz VGA.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with the 15 kHz - 31 kHz thing, but I have a link to the 5" screen Tchay and others used.
