First party N64 controller question

My two cents: probably not. However, if I can find an extra one, I'll send it to you so you can try it out. I'd never used it otherwise.

You just used your username in a sentence, who else can do that!?
Also it can't be trimmed much at all.

I have one with me, I'll open it up later and look. I don't wanna have to tear up my bondo :gonk:. Next time I'm definitely using ABS cement.

You could swap it out for a superpad color. If your not using tact switches I think the distance between buttons is the same and then you could hook up a GC stick. Or you could have kibble do 1st party POT mod for you.

Huh, I didn't even notice that (or make sense grammatically.)

Also snow, if you'd like an extra N64 stick to look at or try minimizing, let me know and I can scrounge one up.

Even then, it would not work with the first party controller.

Neverused, it's alright. I looked inside mine today, and there's no way it's getting any smaller.

What are you talking about? You can get a POT analog stick on a 1st party controller....it just takes some extra work.

 Well, I doubt anybody's willing to go as far as programming a pic chip, when we're just going to rip the controller apart anyways. Might as well use a super pad.

yup :p

kibble (idk if he's here but he's on benheck) is making one for somebody and I think he's going to sell pre-programmed pic chips, too but I'm not sure

all you need is a PIC programmer and the PIC
its not that hard, and can be useful if you want to make your own chips :p

If someone ported that to AVR I would totally do it. (I'm not set up for PIC, only Arduino and AVR)
