DIY CNC MACHINE

Hey guys, I'm new to mod retro I have recently started to make my own homemade cnc machine. All i need though is a power supply and a control board.
I'm using EMC2, a Linux program, do any of you know what power supply i should get, and a control board that would work for this program.
I'm hoping to save a little money on this, so if you can keep it cheap that would be great. Also if you can help me along this very long process that would be amazing.

Yeah we're brothers, I'm the electronic nerd and he's the mechanical one. Sorry I know two accounts are against the rules but I'm not sure about other family members.
