Custom Regs Caps?

Hi everyone,
I finally figured out how the regs were working and now I'm going to make them, I laready have the capcitors, the resistors and the TI regs.I'm actually looking at Zenloc's diagrams and I can see that he uses two caps for reg. And I know that for the 5V line the output cap is optional but I was wondering if it is optional for the two other regs too? Because I've seen on an other diagram that they only use 1 caps for each at the input. Can you please help me? Thanks
Here is the diagram that uses 1 cap:

You only need one input capacitor on the PTH08080WAH, which he uses for 3.3v and 5v. But for the PTR08100WDV, which he uses for 1.9v, you need both the input and output capacitors. That's what the datasheets say.

Ok thanks a lot
And it seems like this diagram doesn't use the same resistors as zenloc's diagram (1kohm instead of 903 ohm, etc..) does it have a real impact or the amp draw is just a bit higher?

Different voltages, I'm pretty sure that the difference is not that big and there impact is fine. Both have made several gcps that functioned just fine so that would be up to you. I usually use the data sheet to get my info.
