Controller that isn't a glop top?

Are there any N64 controllers that aren't glop-tops? I want to try making a custom controller board.

Not generally.
Why can't you use an original? Besides, 3rd party controllers usually have more components on the board and are thus, harder to re-make.

Probably because the sticks on a first party controller suck after a while. Or personal preference for gamecube joystick the n64 joystick.

well since he's redesigning the board, he could include that chip that someone wired up to use 3rd party sticks on 1st party controllers.
