Controller Question

I dont get it. I know the wires are attached to the controller's board but what needs to be at the other end for it to work? sorry if this is extreme novice

one wire goes to the button and one wire goes to ground on most or all controllers you can just run ground from one tact to another

sorry i still dont get it. when a button is pushed what needs to happen underneath for the signal to work?

You need a tact switch. A tact switch closes a circuit when pressed, and when it is released, it opens the circuit again.

oh ok. so how do i wire the tact switch?
