Chat completely doesn't work using Chromium web browser

So, I installed Chromium in Linux Mint, and then tried to access chat.

What I got was this:

This is obviously a problem with Chromium and Ajax working together.

So... what do?

It's not your distro, it's Chromium.

As a workaround, for now you can use Firefox on Linux and it works. That's what I've been doing on my Debian install at least.
You can also launch Chromium with --disable-web-security and it works, but it's a bad workaround.

From my experience, chat doesn't even work well with Windows/Chromium. Firefox

I would, but Chromium is more lightweight.
